After an incredible response from across the UK, with thousands of votes cast and widespread press and social media coverage, the Local Bike Shop Week Awards have reached their exciting conclusion.
From a hugely competitive field of entries, our panel of expert judges selected eight outstanding finalists, with each representing the very best of independent cycling retail. Their dedication, innovation, and commitment to their communities captured the attention of both judges and the public alike.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to support their favourite shop and be part of this year’s celebration; the passion shown for local bike shops has been truly inspiring and we can’t wait to see more of this during Local Bike Shop Week, which starts this Sunday (3rd May).

Alongside retail, Big Bear Bikes delivers inclusive cycling provision through Dalby Forest Cycle Hub, offering structured progression from learn-to-ride sessions to advanced trail skills. It also provides adapted bikes to support riders with additional needs, alongside community engagement through clubs, events and local initiatives.
